Zerega studied Design with Professor Odty Uhlig und Professor Ulrich Harsch at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany. He is an animation artist, illustrator and photographer based in Munich.
His illustrations and photography has been featured in several galleries and museums, including Deutsches Museum in Munich, Haifa City Museum, Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Stockwerk Grobenzell, Petuel-Tunnel (part of Munichs city highway system), Prouds Gallery London and Eckhart Gallery Den Haag. It just started to be part of private and corporate collections throughout North-America, Europe and Asia.
Zerega's work appeared in national newspapers and magazines including Suddeutsche Zeitung, NZZ Neue Zuricher Zeitung, Merian, Allianz Baedeker Munich City Guide, F2 and View Magazine.
Animations and photography were shown on TV and electronic media like Discovery Channel, ZDF Expedition, IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, Smithsonians Institution, Spiegel TV, Spiegel Online and WIRED.
