Sean Kennedy Santos was born in New Zealand from Portuguese Irish descent and is named after JFK. He has been based in New York since 2003.

Sean is a self taught photographer with a background in film. He shoots primarily on location with a distinct
cinematic style which means his work is not easily categorised. He shoots fashion, he shoots landscapes, he shoots emotion. As a storyteller, his work is both moody & original.

His clients have included British Airways Open Skies, Mercedez Benz SL & E Class, Puma, Nike Gridiron, Morgans Hotel Group - Mondrain , Johnnie Walker, Sony & Sunsilk. Editorial work includes Flaunt, Chicago Magazine, GQ , The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Men's Vogue, Eyemazing magazine (Netherlands), Vision Magazine (China), Nikau (France) & Highlights Magazine (Australia). Sean's first award winning book 'Shufti' about fashion and life on the streets of New York has just been released from the UK.
